My father has now been in full time care at Brookfield House Dementia Care Home for just over 3 months. It was one of the hardest decisions the family had to make admitting Dad into full time care but I have to say he has been made to feel very welcome and looked after by all the staff in a caring and professional manor. The staff have also made our family feel more at ease with the toughest decisions we have had to make. Thank you.
My brother has dementia, and resides at Brookfield House. The staff and management, both care for and look after the residents to a high standard. The staff members are always very welcoming when I visit and very genial. In my opinion, the rooms should be upgraded, although very clean etc, I think they are a bit dismal. In general, I think that my brother is being well cared for, although, no doubt problematic at times, he can be a bit demanding of attention. Nonetheless, the care and attention he receives from the staff is nothing but very caring and professional.
Party planner organised a birthday party for my mother-in-law - she never stopped making sure everyone was involved and enjoyed themselves, cake, singer and usual decorations included. She is obviously loved by the residents. Felt very comfortable and inclusive. All the staff were involved and made everyone happy.
We called into the unit unannounced and we were given a tour of the unit and shown the vacant room. Great care was taken in establishing the needs of my mother and we felt confident that they would be met. This indeed proved to be the case. All the staff were very friendly towards us and were very professional and caring in their manner towards my mother. If there were ever any issues we were always informed promptly; we were happy with the timely and appropriate response to any questions or situations.
Everyone is always helpful and nothing is too much trouble. 10 out of 10 to all staff.
Whenever visiting staff are very friendly and helpful. My sister-in-law is very happy. Carers do an exceptional job.
My mum has only been in the home for 3 weeks, but the care staff have for the residents is exceptional. They are very caring, the home is very clean, the food they give is very good. I would recommend the home to family and friends.
The staff and manager are all wonderful. They work hard. They have been wonderful in caring for my beloved partner but also they always take extra time to ask how I am keeping myself which is truly heartwarming.
I am very satisfied with the service provided and the staff are very friendly and caring and keeps us informed over my father's care. Couldn't be happier. Thank you.
I can't fault any of the staff, very caring and Dad is always well presented and cared for. Rooms are a bit basic, but for the time spent in them, are adequate. We are always advised when Dad has had a fall and updated on what treatment if any, was required.
The staff are pleasant and obliging. Care and dignity is dealt with in a professional manner.
The staff very welcoming on arrival. Informed of issues with Grandma's health and well-being. Recent issues being dealt with include checking her for pain and getting the doctor out for a check-up. Do everything they can and treat my grandma with dignity and care.
My mum is cared for really well here. Staff have taken the time to build a relationship with her that goes beyond her medical care. She is helped to feel safe and it makes a huge difference to our family knowing that she is cared for. Despite being busy, the staff always take the time to make sure we understand what is happening.
The staff at Brookfield are professional and friendly and give a reassuring presence. I can leave and know my parents are in good hands.
