View Full Details of Chesford Grange Care HomeMy brother has been at Chesford Grange since May 2024.The moment you step in you are greeted by a receptionist who are pleasant & very helpful.I can honestly say he as really settled in. I visit 3 times a wk even have lunch with him,& I see exactly what goes on, I can't thank the Nurses/ Carers & everyone else who works there enough. They are absolutely brilliant with him, he may not remember their names but he does their faces. There isn't one person that doesn't treat him with dignity & respect & speak to him whenever they see him,& he enjoys having a laugh with them. The atmosphere is so much more happy & inviting. I'd like to say I've even made some new friends. It's a beautiful home & it's very welcoming So thank you to all.
Dad arrived at Chesford Grange at the end of 2023. I can't thank the carers/nurses enough for all they do. Nobody wants their loved one to have to go into care but I feel so relieved dad is being well looked after. They go above and beyond what is required so that residents feel more at home. There is such a lovely atmosphere when you walk in. Thank you to all.
Worst care home ever. Staff tell lies to cover stuff up, had CQC involved multiple times. Rooms are not clean with coffee stains left for weeks. My mum left dirty on numerous occasions very little interaction from care assistants. Management don't want to listen either, never taking onus for their poor lack of care and lack of ability to be honest and upfront. Avoid at all costs, we don't have a choice to move mum now with her dementia but you have a choice where your relatives are treated with compassion and care, this is not the place.
Visited my brother today, the receptionist was very helpful and kind, met a few other staff and all were very pleasant. I found the home to be a happy environment for my brother. He seems very settled in there.
My dad was placed at Chesford Grange Care Home for palliative care. The staff have been responsive to him throughout and he is very fond of certain staff that he has built good relationships with. The home is well presented, although my Dad chooses to spend his time in his bedroom. The clinical team have been excellent ensuring that his physical condition has been managed well.
Dad has been in Chesford Grange Care Home since 15th August 2022 and I am so happy with Dad’s care. It feels as good as family caring for him, I can relax knowing he’s in good hands from all who work there, manager nurses/ carers/reception. I love the events put on for residents and relatives that are quite regular. The meals look delicious whenever I’ve seen them. I always recommend Chesford to those who ask I wouldn’t want Dad to go anywhere else.
Tea party - fantastic atmosphere and food. Got talking to other residents and family members. Can't fault anything. Our friend is being very well looked after. Thank you very much.
Family afternoon tea together. What a lovely afternoon; well organised, food was amazing, everyone seemed jolly and very happy, lovely way to get families together and lovely for the residents. The carers went above and beyond to make sure everyone had drinks and extra food.

Had a lovely day at the beach party. There was lots of entertainment put on, the singer was brilliant, everyone's spirits were lifted. The activities lady was brilliant - dancing around and encouraging everyone to have fun. Dad was enjoying it, it brought everyone together. The activity lady is absolutely lovely.
We came on 'Beach Day', the singer was on and all the residents were outside. They had all families here. The staff were very attentive and caring. We had burgers and a buffet given the beach party, it was great and the staff went the extra mile to make it enjoyable.
