Very happy here. Likes the care being provided and enjoys the company, happy with the activities and the food.
My husband is in now and I recently went home - food very good, care excellent and very clean. I've enjoyed the activities.
Dad has a more involved and social life now. He is well cared for and safe. Staff are helpful, caring and very supportive.
Very good.
Ok.
My father could not have been in a better place to end his days. The care and attention he was given by all members of staff was the best possible. He got a lot of pleasure from his stay, plus the staff worked above and beyond the norm during his last few days.
Caring staff, everyone so friendly, meals nice. Fab environment. Activities run very well.
This is such a nice atmosphere and staff chat to visitors and residents in a very respectful way. The place is very clean but without being clinical. There are many homely touches. Above all else, it does not smell! I love the idea of the resident dog who was also friendly. I'm looking forward to going again.
After a short stay of just four months, my sister and her husband have been made welcome and are being cared for by very caring staff and management.
My mother was diagnosed with dementia in 2018 and for over a year, she continued living in her own flat, confused but safe. However, when she was found wandering a couple of times, her safety could no longer be guaranteed and so we started looking round for a care home. As many people would testify, it is a very difficult time and finding a suitable place that can look after your loved one is not an easy decision to make. However, on my first visit to Elm House, the first thing I noticed was the way the staff seemed to genuinely care for the residents. Now that Mum is here, I am so glad that my first impressions have proven to be right. She is still confused but appears very content. She actually thinks that she is in a lovely hotel. My Mum has always taken great pride in her appearance and whenever I visit her, she is always dressed very smartly and nicely made up. Equally importantly, from my perspective, she is safe and that's a huge load off my mind.
