View Full Details of Fountains CourtMy mother recently moved into Fountains Court. The care is excellent, staff are very attentive and caring. Nothing is too much trouble at all. Mum has settled in very well, we are very pleased with the home. It has exceeded all of the family expectations as Fountains was our choice of care home.
Fountain Court is a first rate care home which is a real home from home. Our mother is very happy and well cared for by the superb staff who all work very hard in the caring environment.
My mum has been a resident at Fountains Court for over a year now and is really very happy and content there. It is quite unbelievable the difference in her as she arrived there in a not very good state and now she is back to herself, like she was a good few years ago, in fact mum is having so much fun. She is up dancing when the music is on, plays bingo and other games, has her hair done by the hairdresser there, has lots of friends and keeps them laughing. All this is due to the amazing, caring staff and management who deserve a big thank you!
The care home was decorated beautifully for Christmas, with songs and carols for the season. There were lots of activities for the residents but also quieter spaces for rest and relaxation. The management is very knowledgeable and helpful; nothing is too much trouble. All of the care staff are friendly and approachable and they take time to get to know each resident's requirements, and they truly care.
My husband was admitted into Fountains Court on the 9th of September 2024. Me and my sons'and daughter are so happy he is in here, no complaints at all.
All the staff are very professional and very friendly. It is good to know that my dad is getting looked after.
Our mum has been a resident for over a year now. She is happy and settled here. The care that she receives is excellent from both the care staff, activities ladies, and the admin staff. Nothing is too much trouble and the care is delivered in a caring and compassionate manner. We feel confident that mum is in a safe and caring environment at a difficult stage in her life.
Overall I am satisfied with the care my mum receives. It would be nice though if the new owner was available to be able to air my views, as I think he could make a lot of advantageous changes for the residents e.g. to provide a minibus so residents can be taken for days out. At present the staff and family members of residents rely on fund raising!
Went to the garden party on Saturday 22nd July 2023. The staff were very involved with the residents. Very clean home, but maybe needs an update (ie. carpets). A very organised event to raise money for the resident's fund, but the staff, including the manager. Nice to see such dedication.
It might sound ridiculous to put excellent for every category but I never wanted my mother to go into a home ever. I thank our lucky stars she ended up at Fountains Court. The staff show so much love towards her from the manager to the tea lady, they are incredible people, and so many stimulating activities and wonderful surroundings make for a fantastic place to live your final days.
My Dad has been a resident at this home for nearly 5 months now. It was really hard to accept that we could no longer manage to care for him at home but the staff couldn’t have been nicer or more supportive in helping him settle in. From the first time we looked around we could see that staff treat residents like family, they are very visible and there is always something going on. My Dad is quite a private person and very particular about certain things but staff have got to know him and go out of their way to meet his needs. This has brought a lot of reassurance to my family. We are still adjusting to the fact that we don’t have to take responsibility for all of Dads care needs and even though we must drive the staff mad with many questions, they are always responsive and constantly reassure us. I would highly recommend this home
This care home provides excellent care; however, there are problems regarding laundry, mainly underwear items relating to residents that are not being returned - even though they have been labelled by family. Also, could provide more activities for residents as they seem to spend a lot of time sleeping through the day.
My mum had three weeks respite care at Fountains Court. Prior to this, I was her main carer. I visited five homes in total before choosing and setting on Fountains Court. There is such a lovely feeling to his establishment which is obvious from the outset. My mum only has positive things to say about the quality of her care, which mainly focuses on the dedication of the staff and how well she is looked after. From my point of view, the environment is fabulous - I wish more care homes looked as inviting. However, this review is not only based on the aesthetics but on the genuine warmth, care and understanding of the staff. I spoke at length to a wide range of staff in a wide range of roles and every one of them was empathetic and nurturing. They seemed to thoroughly enjoy working here. All had a smile on their faces at all times and treated the residents with the utmost respect and kindness. I will look no further than Fountains Court should my mum need permanent care.
