Wonderful care home - and it really is that, a home. My father, who has Alzheimer's, has been a resident for almost a year and has settled well. The emphasis on 'person-centred care' is evident - my dad is treated as an individual and he's responded really well. The carers supporting him are brilliant - nothing ever seems to be too much trouble. Residents are encouraged and helped to pursue their interests - and discover new ones - the activity programme is jam-packed and highly varied. The home manager's door is literally always open, which is reassuring and the team of managers overseeing the units are friendly and approachable. My father has a dietary requirement and this is no problem for the catering team. I would highly recommend Garden City Court to anyone considering a move to a care home in the area. Have a look at their social media page - it will give you a sense of the lovely atmosphere and all the goings-on. I sleep soundly these days, knowing my dad is genuinely cared for.

My mum has been a resident since July 2024, the improvement in her physical health since being a resident here is quite remarkable. The care staff are excellent, they are caring and attentive and got to know my mum well within a matter of weeks. The management has always reacted to my requests promptly and without fuss. I would recommend Garden City Court without hesitation.

My Mum has recently passed away and had been a resident of the care home for the past 6 years. I can honestly say her time there was absolutely wonderful. She was very well cared for by the staff who are all very professional and so caring towards the residents. My mum enjoyed the activities and entertainment provided at the home. The monthly schedule was always full of great things to do and to join in with. In her last days there, the dignity and respect they showed my mum and the compassion and support towards my family I will never forget. Each and every member of staff is absolutely amazing and I can't thank them enough.

I'm very happy here I like it when they have parties. I'm looking forward to the summer BBQ it will be so much fun! I've lived here a long time would never want to go back happy here! And I get to go out when I want.

I visited many care homes in the local and surrounding areas. Garden City Court is by far the most loveliest and welcoming. Since my mother moved in she has thrived, and for the first time in many years my mum has felt happy and secure. My mum has first-class support from their carers, her medical requirements have been fully assessed, and importantly mum loves the activities, and has come out of her shell in this wonderful community.

My Father-in-law decided it was time for him to go into care. Garden City Court has provided a safe and caring environment. He is happy and feels cared for. The family visits regularly and is always welcome by the staff. We are very happy with the care he receives. We highly recommend Garden City Court.

My mum has settled well into Garden City Court, she always comments that the staff are very friendly and helpful. The staff go out of their way to make residents feel respected and it feels more like a big family at Garden City Court.

Very warm and welcoming from my first connection which was when I phoned up. Appointment to visit was made immediately to suit me - re at the weekend. I knew from the moment I arrived in reception it was the right place for my dad. The care home was very clean and tidy. The rooms are spacious but most important are the people that work there. They all appear very happy in their work and the environment they work in. They are all very personable with my dad and with relatives. The cost is high but I realise that good staff should be paid fairly.

Outstanding care! Outstanding staff! Home clean and tidy! Mum very happy here. Staff go beyond their call of duty to residents to make them comfortable and happy. Can’t thank staff enough. Lots of daily plans and entertaining which the residents enjoy which is excellent for their well-being. Lovely staff at reception to meet and greet and make you feel comfortable.

We were lucky enough to be given a choice of four different care homes before we settled on Garden City Court. This one is head and shoulders above the others that we saw. Mum is incredibly happy here and we can't fault the level of care. The staff are all just amazing. Friendly, helpful and caring. They always want what's best for Mum. After eighteen months of Mum being here, I am still amazed at everything they do for the residents here. It's a ten out of ten from me!

Excellent level of care given at all times. Friendly staff. Spotless in all areas. Entertainment is very good. Mother-in-law enjoys her food. Couldn't wish for better care.

My mum has been with Garden City Court since 2019. She is incredibly happy and secure and this is her home now. She has a fantastic relationship with the carers, she is included in the resident's voice and is made to feel valued and supported every moment. The carers are professional, and they are not only my mum's carers, but they are her friends. The care is gentle, empathetic and kind, my mum is always helped and cared for. The environment is full of fun entertainment, with whole centre events within the home and trips out for afternoon tea and visits to garden centres. Every member of the team goes above and beyond, they are all truly generous professionals with pure altruistic characteristics. This is a truly very special place and I know they care for my mum immensely. I cannot recommend this home enough and I know my mum will support this if you want to ask a resident for their experiences. Thank you to everyone!

Since my dad moved in we found him to be happy and safe. All staff are very helpful, friendly, always having so many fun things to do. Thank you to all the staff.

My husband was discharged from the hospital to Garden City Court. He is 96, mentally alert but physically frail. Everyone has treated him with respect and did everything possible to help him to settle in and the family were also supported to a sudden change in a much-loved member. Care is first-class; the kindness shown is wonderful. Cannot fault anything, he is really happy there.

In my experience, Garden City Court is a highly efficient and professionally run care home. The members of staff that I have met have been enthusiastic, caring and highly motivated. I am always greeted with friendly smiles and a warm welcome. My requests for information or assistance in relation to my father's care and specific needs have always been addressed immediately. Nothing is too much trouble for the team. The care home is extremely clean and well-managed. The highest standard of care is being provided to my father and he is extremely happy in his new surroundings. He is always treated with great respect and dignity. Thank you, Garden City Court, we take great comfort in the knowledge that Dad is safe and well looked after.

I asked my mum what she liked about the home. She said it's a very happy place to live and the staff are cheerful and always happy to help me. The food is very tasty. She enjoys doing the activities, especially singing. She said her room is always cleaned well and the whole home is cleaned to a high standard.

My wife has been a resident for approximately 4 years. I am very happy with the care my wife receives and I know she is in good hands. All the carers are extremely friendly and helpful, they always make me and my daughter feel very welcome when we visit. I couldn't wish for a nicer place for my wife to live. I highly recommend it.
