View Full Details of Willow GardensI can't rate Willow Gardens highly enough. Such lovely rooms, all kept so clean and tidy. The staff are all so kind and have plenty of time for the residents and are so welcoming. The management team have also been very helpful with dealing with some very difficult paperwork. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Willow Gardens.
My mum was a resident here for more than 3 years and she formed a good relationship with most of the staff. She enjoyed the company of being with other people and especially liked having a laugh and a joke with the lovely carers. I am very happy with the level of care and support mum received whilst at Willow Gardens and I know that we couldn't have found anywhere better for mum to spend the last year's of her life. I would have no hesitation in recommending this care home to anyone else.
On our very first visit to Willow Gardens, my wife and I instinctively knew that this is where Mum is meant to be, and 23 months on, we can unequivocally say that our initial feeling has been endorsed a hundred times over. The manager and her whole team are absolutely amazing, having created and nurtured a happy and enriching environment, not only for Mum but all those in their care. The level of professionalism, care, respect and genuine affection demonstrated is exemplary, especially as Mum has dementia with all the additional support that entails. Placing a loved one into full-time is an emotional time but Willow Gardens truly encompasses all the very best you could wish for in not just a care home, but in a caring home. We take comfort and peace of mind that we have done our very best for Mum by entrusting her into the care of the family that is Willow Gardens.
I visit my old friend regularly. She has dementia but is always happy with lots to do and lovely care staff and manager.
Have lived here nearly a year and getting used to my own room. Meals are always on time and the best. Laundry is picked up on time and returned. Rooms are cleaned daily/weekly which I like and kept tidy, including carpets always clean. Coffee shop easy to get to, a small shop selling everything you might need. All cards that you've forgotten and they are handy. The bistro is useful for meeting family members.
We have found Willow Gardens a great place for Mum, the carers are always polite and helpful when required. They go out of their way to calm relative no matter how long it takes. I would recommend Willow Gardens to anyone.
Kind and friendly staff. Always on hand to help. This is a safe place. My nan is very happy here.
Excellent team! Always there to help. Clean and tidy and warm. Wonderful place!
I came to Willow Gardens last year and I am now back here this year. Which speaks for itself how good I found it here.
A fit, mainly healthy 87-year-old lady still doing my own housework, washing, ironing, shopping, heavy lifting and all the driving (200-300 miles a day on odd occasions) was changed by a freak accident. In hospital with left hip and wrist fractures I was very unwell. On discharge my caring lovely husband not so well himself wanted to care for me. It got too much for him and the family a care home for me. On 21st August I was in Willow Gardens for respite. My husband visits daily. Management and carers are all wonderful. Nothing is ever too much. We would recommend Willow Gardens to anybody in need of respite or permanent care.
The accommodation is very clean and comfortable. Beds are comfortable. Staff very pleasant and helpful.
In recent weeks my mother has seen an inevitable deterioration in her health due to dementia. During this time the staff have been really good at keeping us up to date on doctors' nursing and other health care professional input. The staff have been quick to communicate any of Mum's additional needs so that things can be put in place quickly. So pleased we chose this care facility.
I find the staff and facilities excellent. This is my second time in Willow Gardens and I find it very relaxing, and I am seriously thinking of another visit. The treatment received when unwell was excellent.
Fantastic place for my grandmother, she absolutely loves the staff and has done so well since moving here. Best decision was moving here, we know she is being looked after, is safe and loves being there. Great rooms, always very clean and lots of amenities.
I spent 3 weeks in rehab after a complete hip replacement. The staff were most helpful and any request was no trouble. The service regarding meals and room service was impeccable. There were activities organised both morning and afternoon for the residents to participate in if they so wished. My stay over the 3 weeks was most enjoyable and relaxing.
I am happy with the service, I love it.
My mother went into respite care at Willow Gardens after a 3-week stay in hospital. Her preconceived idea of a care home made her anxious but trusted my judgment as I had already visited the care home. Her worries soon diminished. She was made to feel so welcome and so loved. Nothing was too much trouble for the management and the carers. We really cannot fault anything. My mum felt poorly during her stay, and this was sorted out immediately. I felt assured and confident all the time that my mum was being cared for with the dignity she deserves so much so, we extended her stay to the maximum. Excellent!
My mother-in-law went into the care home for respite care back in February till April. her stay was extended to the max and I saw how well they treated her. What an excellent care home! She cried when she left to go back home. She missed it so much, that after 4 weeks of being at home, she went back for 3 more weeks of respite care, to help with her mobility and just to have the assurance of round-the-clock care. She felt part of a family there, and the staff all seemed so happy to work there. We were always made to feel welcome too. When the time is ready, she feels she would like to become a permanent resident.
My mother spent the last 2.5 years of her life at Willow Gardens where she was safe, happy and looked after with the greatest care, support and dignity. I cannot thank the staff enough for everything they did to ensure she was happy and every need was met. The atmosphere at Willow Gardens is so welcoming and pleasant with lots of entertainment and activities for all to enjoy. Thank you to everyone who ensured my mother had a happy life.
Since my Nan has moved to Willow Gardens I cannot thank the care staff enough for how they all go above and beyond for my Nan. She has settled in nicely which is always a great fear, my Nan absolutely adores all the carers and often refers to them as angels! She also enjoys all the activities they have to offer, like pub lunches, quizzes, singers etc. Hearing my Nan speak so highly of the staff is a great relief knowing she is being so well looked after, they are all so welcoming and are warming towards the resident's friends and family. I would not hesitate to recommend this care home!
