Our friend has only just moved into Ivy Lodge and she seems really well and so settled. We know these times are difficult but it is so good see her looking rested.

Every time we come to visit all the staff are so pleasant. The rooms are lovely and the menus look really tasty. We are pleased with the nurses. The care they take of her is really good. The entertainment is good as well and the coffee shop is great to bring her down to.

My father is well looked after by the staff and he is happy being here. Dad was in two other homes before arriving at Ivy Gate Lodge approximately 6 months ago and without doubt, Ivy Gate is the best. All the staff are happy and professional. Keep up the good work.

Feel welcomed by the receptionists. The care staff are lovely, treating Dad well and are super friendly. Chef's seem nice too. Just met the manager who seems really nice too.

Lovely staff who are very respectful and kind, high cleanliness throughout the home, a lot of interactive activities for the residents to partake in, rooms are spacious and always have the necessary equipment for the residents' needs.

As soon as I viewed Ivy Gate I knew this was the place for my wife. She is on end-of-life care and everyone is so kind and caring. I always come home after visiting knowing that she is being looked after. Excellent care home.

My husband has been a resident just a very short time but already I can see what an amazing place this is. I have the comfort of knowing that he will be in very safe and caring hands and in a home full of kindness.

I find Ivy Gate Lodge to be a very welcoming place. The staff are always helpful, friendly and professional. The building itself is of a high standard, rooms are always clean and fresh, food is really nice and varied menu, activities are good to keep occupants active where possible. Overall I feel content that my mother's needs are being met and communication between myself and staff is good.

Dad has settled in well. Has only been here for two weeks and can already see an improvement in him. The staff made a lovely fuss on his 90th birthday.

It has been lovely to see my father-in-law settle in so well at Ivy Gate. He seems happy, contented and well looked after. Staff have made both him and us feel welcome and reassured.

Ivy Gate Lodge is modern, clean and bright. The staff are very helpful, kind and caring. The ladies at reception are welcoming and are wonderful brand ambassadors for Ivy Gate Lodge. When I visit my uncle I am always welcomed at any time, I feel supported and have the peace of mind that my uncle is getting the standard of care he deserves. I have actually told my daughter that Ivy Lodge is where I would be happy if I need care in the future.

I visit my friend every week at Ivy Gate Lodge. What a first-class building! Warm and welcoming, friendly, courteous staff, always keen to help. He always tells me how happy he is here and how good the food is.

My family and myself are very satisfied with the care and attention received from the management and staff at Ivy Gate Lodge. The love, consideration and courtesy are amazing. As a visitor, I get the impression that I receive the same care and consideration as the patients.

My husband has smiled for the first time in months. Rooms and staff are lovely. Burns lunchtime activity and food was enjoyed by all who attended. The bagpipes and excellent bagpiper were a great touch.

Wonderful, genuine welcome, nothing was too much trouble. All the staff are attentive, caring and friendly. We looked at many care homes and no other met the standards of Ivy Gate Lodge, we are delighted to be able to have peace of mind that my mother is happy and excellently cared for, thank you.

On entering the house I'm impressed with no smell. I've entered homes and the smell of old age was there. My friend was the GP in town, we have been friends since 1970 when he came to work here. He was my husband's best friend. I think he misses my husband as much as me.
