View Full Details of Fleming Court Care HomeHave not been at Fleming Court for one year and I am very pleased with my new home environment - my new friends - the kind and caring staff.
I am happy with the excellent care my mother receives in a friendly, supportive environment where her countless needs are met. A kind, supportive team of carers demonstrate empathy and understanding for my mother, who at 93 suffers from increasing cognitive impairment. The environment at Fleming Court is kept to a high standard, clean and welcoming
The quality and extend of care is exemplary as are the staff. The presentation and ambience is like no other care home I have visited. It is 5 star! Food presentation and atmosphere is excellent. Both public areas and private rooms are spotless. Autumn was beautiful as Christmas. I am sure that spring will be just as lovely.
Since mum moved into Fleming Court in October 2024 the staff have delivered excellent care. Their kindness has been exceptional and they have done their utmost to help her settle into her new home. Both the well being team and catering team go above and beyond to meet residents needs.
I would just like to put on record how brilliant the Care Assistant was during a recent health scare my mother-in-law had. The Care Assistant was calm, reassuring and professional throughout, supporting the paramedics and keeping everyone informed. The Care Assistant is a credit to the care home and her profession. Thank you.
Following the death of my wife, I looked after myself at home because of walking problems and a number of falls, ended up with a short stay in the hospital. Both my son and daughter lived away. On the advice of a friend to come into Fleming Court. Since then I have not had a fall.
Visited my uncle who appears very happy and content in his surroundings. We attended the quiz run by the home managers. The staff were very caring and attentive. The home was clean and the food was great. It was nice to see home management stay behind so late to join in with activities with residents.
Staff are very good always pleasant. Food etc good but only soup and sandwiches every day for tea. The only other the point is that the cleaning of dentures with toothpaste is not enough.
The staff are always kind and helpful. They treat Mum with humour and careful stock the room is just right and Mum enjoys the food. Occasionally items get misplaced in the laundry, but it is a very small issue to us.
Staff are brilliant. Very friendly and always happy to help.
Whenever I come to visit usually twice a week the staff and cars are extremely friendly and willing to help offer assistance. They treat my friend with respect and he responds very well towards them. I usually find to say I'm coming to take pizza out and the staff make sure he is ready to pick up when I arrive. there appear to be plenty of activities for residents to participate in and I'm always welcome to join in too.
A warm, welcoming atmosphere as one enters the building. The rooms are well-designed and have a modern colour scheme. The connecting corridors are also well-designed home, with pleasing interiors at every turn.
My mum took up residency at Fleming Court care home 18 months ago. My sister and I cared for her at home following my dad's sudden death. She has Alzheimer’s disease and upon entering the home her dementia was moderate. The home can no longer meet her needs as her condition has declined to a more advanced state. Fleming is very light, bright, spacious and well-furnished. Nice dining area with good food choices and well presented. Most carers do a good job although too stretched to interact as much with the residents as they would like. There is one very nice well-being coordinator but she is only part-time. On occasion there is entertainment but generally, there is just nothing for them to do. Some residents just need some emotional support and someone to comfort them and that’s where I think there is a problem. Many times I have seen boredom escalate to agitation among these elderly people. Disappointing management. Poor interaction and make themselves scarce.
My mother-in-law has resided in Fleming Court since July 2023. Having looked at other care homes initially we were delighted to find Fleming Court as was she. The experience so far has been very positive, the care, the environment, the facilities and the hospitality. My mother-in-law reports feeling safe, cared for and very happy here.
I visit weekly with pets such as therapy dog, we always enjoy our visits with staff and residents. There’s always something interesting to keep the residents entertained, we certainly learned a lot from the Rockpool School this week. The staff work so hard to look after all of the residents. We look forward to many more visits in the future.
Staff are all very friendly and helpful. They treat all the residents with kindness and respect. Excellent range of activities and entertainment.
Very caring environment, staff are very positive and helpful. Plenty of activities to entertain and inform. Good interaction with family and visitors.
I find the staff and care exceptional. My mam and dads care is paramount.
My grandparents have been here a few weeks, they appear to be happy with their care and both say staff are very helpful. The home is always clean and tidy and staff are always around to help. Lots is fall preventions in place and good outdoor facilities with the weather.
Very happy with my mums care here - lovely friendly atmosphere in the home.
