View Full Details of King's Court Care HomeOur father, aged 84 years with terminal COPD and emphysema, was reaching the end of his life. After a couple of falls, he was rushed into A and E and then admitted to hospital. The hospital was not the place he or we wanted him to spend his final days, so we arranged for him to move to Kings Court. He was assessed in the hospital by the head of nursing care who came out to see him and was extremely helpful in guiding us on how to manage his conditions and make him comfortable. Once he reached King's Court, the excellent care and attention he received from everyone, albeit for a short period of time, was wonderful. He died peacefully amongst family in a beautiful room overlooking the garden, with plenty of time and quiet space to say his final goodbyes. Everyone at King's Court was incredibly helpful, kind and compassionate, and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone in a similar position and would be happy to give a reference if required.
We received a lovely warm welcome at Kings Court upon arrival and my mother felt immediately at home. Lunch was excellent and Mum's room is of a very high standard. Our first impressions are absolutely first class and as we came recommended by our home carer, we are confident that our satisfaction will continue throughout Mum's stay.
I am very happy here at Kings Court and getting excellent treatment.
The whole team at King's Court have been so helpful in settling my friend into King's Court. She went there for a week to see how she might feel about moving in permanently and she has had a wonderful time. She had company, good food, and activities to get involved in and has been cared for kindly and compassionately. King's Court is such a beautiful environment and everywhere is very modern and clean. I feel that her quality of life has improved beyond recognition while she has been at King's Court. I was made so welcome every time I visited - nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are amazing and just like high-quality hotel rooms and my only reason for scoring a 4 is that I believe it would be more comfortable for new residents to be able to take in a few small items of furniture from home to make the room feel more 'familiar'. This is my own personal view and I understand that the rooms should not be cluttered. Thank you to all the staff for your kindness and support.
My Mum has been in Kings Court since October 2024 the whole experience has been very straightforward and professional. She has settled in beautifully and feels that it is now her home. The staff are very friendly and caring and will do all they can to make her feel comfortable and happy.
My mum has been well looked after at King's Court, especially since she had a stroke and was in hospital for several weeks. The staff are very caring, friendly, and supportive and she feels safe and at home there. She also takes part in many of the activities that are organised for the residents, whose company she greatly enjoys.
My father came to King's Court from hospital for respite care. The home is new, attractively laid out inside with a warm, pleasant lounge and dining room. The individual rooms are thoughtfully designed and the ground rooms have little patios/seating areas on the lawns of the garden. Absolutely everyone I met on the staff, whether nursing or administrative, was absolutely lovely and incredibly helpful. While I can't comment myself, my father said the food was terrific - he assured me it was practically Michelin star level!
I was dreading moving my mother from London to a new home. All my fears were completely needless. My mother has not looked back. All her needs have been seamlessly cared for in such a kind friendly way. She has become engaged in the home and with other residents really quickly and is thriving in a way I would not have imagined was possible. The staff really go the extra mile and personal care seems sympathetic and gentle. The home itself is so lovely. Lots of different spaces to sit in and I can't wait for the summer when we can sit in the garden. My mother is also enjoying the food and looks so much better and happier. Thank you.
Staff at Kings Court have worked hard to help my mum settle in. The staff are attentive, kind, compassionate, friendly, and caring and work hard to meet all of Mum's needs. The environment is clean and very comfortable with lots of space to accommodate visitors. Great facilities and a good range of tailored activities that suit the client group. As relatives, we have always felt very welcome, part of the Kings Court family, and any questions or requests we have had have been responded to quickly and compassionately. We feel reassured that Mum is being looked after well and that is a great comfort.
Finding Kings Court for my mum has felt a little like a lottery win. It's not just that it's a beautiful place to live, which it is. Or that my mum's room is beautifully decorated with a cute patio overlooking a lovely garden, which it is and does. What makes it a lottery win is the people who work there, and how much they care about my mum and all the residents. I feel like she is with her family who spoils her every day. I live in a different country, so this is the most important thing in the world to me. So grateful for all the lovely people who work there.
What a wonderful nursing home - we were so happy to finally get my husband into a caring, safe, and professional environment. He had spent 7 weeks in hospital and months in another local care home and we were in despair that we would not find him a calm and caring place to end his days. My husband passed peacefully with love and care to the end. From myself and my family our most grateful, thanks to everyone concerned.
My mother has had a marvellous time at Kings' Court, coming in from hospital, my mother has been given lots of help to get active again after a fall. The staff have been first rate and my mother speaks very kindly about them and the other residents.
He appears to be happy and well looked after. The room is comfortable and he appears to be looked after nicely and he feels happy in himself when he is feeling all right.
