Since I came here in October 2018 this place has helped me grow so much.
However I have to say since this pandemic started, other than the masks,
the care we have all received has not changed whatsoever, which I think
in a setting such as this and the types of mental health problems people
suffer within the homes, it is extremely important to not have that much
of a change as it creates instability. I do think, however, the fact
they are coming to work they are putting their own health and wellbeing
on the line and as such, they should be compensated in some way. I know
of many places that due to the risks involved they have been given a
temporary pay increase or a bonus, so why not here, this is arguably a
hugely profitable company considering the amount it costs per week. So I
personally think the staff should be heavily rewarded in some way, it's
all about appreciating the ones that keep this bus ticking over, which,
I don't think is too much of an out-there idea do you?
