My mother continues to receive excellent care at St. Clare's Court Care Home. She recently required a referral to a district nurse and subsequent hospital appointment. This was dealt with extremely quickly by St. Clares in getting her the care she required. Her general care is very good and all the staff show her kindness and respect. She enjoys the stimulation of the various activities and company of other residents.

St Clare's Court was the first home we viewed for my mother - and we knew with the first meeting with the manager it was perfect - in every way - my mother has settled; engaged with friends (the golden girls!) It shows in her behaviour and physical health improvement how happy she is. My wife and I cannot express to all the staff how grateful we are for the exemplary care you provide.

Cannot fault the level of care provided. Mum is so well cared for. What is amazing is the activity programmes, and love how Mum is encouraged to join in. Since her admittance in early December, her mobility has really improved. All the staff are so caring, and it's lovely to see Mum enjoying the companionship and activities; prior to this, she slept so much. The mental stimulation has so much helped her dementia.

I was able to come and spend Christmas lunch with Dad. It was very nice, and I was made to feel welcome.

Place is nice, treated well. At first, was not wanting to be here, but now I don't want to leave. Enjoy socialising with other residents and activities over the past few months. Loved me trip to see the Flying Scotsman.

This care home has looked after me as much as my mum. Staff could not be more caring. The rooms are lovely and homely. Mum has now settled in well. Very happy to recommend it.

In the lead-up to Christmas the staff went above and beyond to make the home feel special and Christmassy for all residents and families. The outside light and inflatable decorations were brilliant. All Christmas activities were brilliant and well thought out. Families were encouraged to attend with their relatives.

We love visiting the home in December. The home is always decorated beautifully. There are always lots of activities taking place. On one occasion we visited after tea time, and there were carol singers. My mother-in-law was taken downstairs with other residents, and they had such a lovely during.

Very happy with the staff and how they helped to ease her into the care home. Managers are always amazing and answer any of my queries. Happy that my mother-in-law appears happy and content.

This care home is undoubtedly the best home not only in Newton-Aycliffe but the whole of the country, with the best staff who give my mam the care she needs and a very friendly atmosphere. Thank you to them all.

Very professional staff, warm welcoming. The home has a high standard of cleanliness. The rooms are spacious and modern. The most important thing is the residents are well cared for and extremely happy.

The move of a loved one into residential care is a difficult and worrying process. The team at St Clare's Court have worked hard to ensure it can be as smooth as possible. The care provided since and the attitude of the staff stand out and have left us reassured that we made the best choice. Fabulous team.

Making the difficult decision to place Mam in a home was made easier with the help and support of the staff. As a family, we feel Mam is safe and getting the support she needs. We have been accepted into the home's family, so much so, that I have been Santa Clause for several events and provided cakes for open days.

My mum has been a resident at St Clare's for over five years. The staff are amazing. They cater for her every need and always keep me informed of any issues. They have become extended family to us. I couldn't ask for a more caring environment for my mum.

Fantastic home. Lovely, warm atmosphere. Christmas decorations were fabulous and had included some of the residents' own handy work. Looks like lots of fun over the festive period. Staff members are very welcoming and friendly.

My family friend is in the home, I visit every week. What a beautiful home. The staff are kind and very friendly. The events they put on are outstanding not only for the residents but families and the community. For anyone looking for a home, you can not find better from the housekeepers, carers all the way to the manager - Outstanding.

St Clare's is a beautiful home and looks more like a hotel. The staff have been amazing with my mam and she receives excellent care. A lot of effort is put into decorating the home for special events such as Christmas. Our mam is very happy here and enjoys taking part in the daily activities. Thank you all for everything you do.
