View Full Details of Park View Care Home with NursingExcellent experience where the staff and facilities have made a huge difference to my mum. Very accommodating at such short notice who helped make my mum's nursing and care needs complete. We have seen a huge step forward in my mum since her arrival. Thank you so much to the manager and the Park View nursing team.
My experience has always been a positive one for the standard of care and support you give to those living at Park View.
I find all staff very welcoming and nothing too much trouble.
My mum has been a resident for many years, my dad was before he sadly passed away. The whole team are amazing from the initial 'checking in' and throughout. My mum has thrived, always shown kindness and courtesy. She loves the food, staff and her sunny room.
Myself and my sister were looking for a suitable place for my mum to go into respite, as my sister was due to go on a holiday. She is my mum's carer and as l work, it's not possible for me to be there full-time. When we visited Park View Care home today, what can l say, we were so overwhelmed with the home, the warm welcome and such friendly staff and such a beautiful home. Very clean and tidy. The rooms were so big and spacious and spotless. We just loved the place and think it would be perfect for my mum. Well done to you and all the staff. Beautiful home, would recommend it to anyone who's looking for the care and needs of your parents.
My husband was admitted to Park View Care Home with Nursing in January 2024, having spent nearly 6 months in hospital, after suffering a severe stroke in August 2023 which left him paralyzed on one side of his body and unable to swallow. He has several other incapacitating health issues which also need to be consistently monitored. His care needs are therefore high and since becoming a resident the care he has been receiving from the nursing staff is exceptional. Not just from the wonderful nursing staff, but from the quality and maintenance team also, who have ensured that he has everything in his room to meet his specific accommodation needs. The home itself is of a very high standard with lots of extra activities and events for residents. This is by far an exceptional Care Home in all respects.
Very happy with the care home. Staff are always polite and helpful. Temperature in the home is always warm.
I have had no complaints from the residents when I have visited them. They seem to be well-fed and looked after. The bedroom is always clean and tidy, also the lounge and dining room. There is always someone to answer any queries or concerns. Medical needs are always seen to. Any problems we are informed about them. They always celebrate special events with special meals or events e.g. Easter, Halloween, Bonfire Night.
Always clean, amazing and very friendly staff. Staff have always greeted me with a friendly smile and 'hello.' Always ready to assist my mom when needed.
My brother is well cared for in Park View. He's been a resident under nursing care since March 2020. The staff are very attentive and loving. They do really take care of him and he appears to be happy.
Amazing and caring staff that can’t do enough for the residents. My mum had been in hospital for nearly 3 months and she has settled in well; it’s the happiest she’s been in a long time thanks to Park View staff and management. The activities and events organised create a relaxed and happy atmosphere and it’s clear that the manager and her staff care greatly for the residents. Thanks for everything you have done with my mum - I can’t express my gratitude enough.
On arrival I wasn't with my partner but the following day I visited the home, my partner said straight away it felt good and I could see he was very happy and has been so, ever so much.
Park View Care Home with Nursing is fabulous. Staff and management are approachable, friendly and kind. My mom has one-to-one care, and the staff employed by the home are great with my mom. One lady imparticular, my mom feels safe and secure, and that's what matters. Staff take her out in her wheelchair for walks and around the shops. My mom is very particular regarding food; however, the chef always manages to accommodate her. If there were to be a problem, I would not hesitate to approach the manager or staff. Room and public areas are always clean, and most importantly, residents are looked after.
I like living here; it's a very nice home to live in. I join in the activities and outings. I receive options on all my meals and can ask for more if I want it. I can't fault the staff; they're all friendly and helpful.
My mum has been here for almost a year now and the change in her has been amazing. The staff are all fantastic and so helpful. With their help I now have my mum back - she is so happy here and made lots of friends.
Currently have a family member in this home and after reading a few bad reviews we didn't hold much hope but I have to say the current manager has been nothing but helpful and fully supportive. She attended a meeting we as a family had requested and went above and beyond, she has taken over the management of this home only 2 months ago so any poor reviews do not relate to the new management. Thanks again to the manager for her continuing support.
Every single member of staff at Park View are so kind and caring, they go above and beyond to be helpful and will assist with any problems. The manager was able to put my mind at ease when I initially put my mother in their care. During one of my meetings, there was a group of residents sat outside in the spring sunshine, enjoying sangria and being encouraged to talk about their holidays. Although this is early days, I feel I have made a great choice in Park View.
I would not recommend this home if you value staying in touch with your loved ones or the responsiveness of the staff. I have left several voicemails and sent many emails trying to reach my dad, and I haven't had a single response. This has included missing his birthday and the birthdays of both of his grandkids. I don't live in Blackpool, so it's hard to get there in person, but the staff do not seem to care about keeping the residents in touch with their families.
This is an excellent care and nursing home. The staff are very friendly and caring to the residents. Very person-centred. The particular care they have taken over my friend has been wonderful to witness. I am grateful that she is in a place where I feel she is being cared for as much as she was when she was in her own home!
