View Full Details of Seacroft GreenThe staff looking after Dad/Gramps always went above and beyond. The care, commitment and compassion is evident as soon as you walk through the door and meet the helpful reception staff. This continued on the floor where Dad had a room with a fantastic view and was able to watch the sunset many times. He enjoyed the varied activity events especially the singing sessions where he got to do a quite a few solos! Dad also enjoyed the home cooked food and everyone worked so hard to make him comfortable and nourish his strong independent spirit. Wishing you all well for the future in the great work you do.
My experience of Seacroft Green has been very positive. Indeed, I can't fault it. They go out of their way to make the residents as clean, comfortable and happy as possible. Only tonight, they helped my mother celebrate her 89th birthday, congregating in her room to sing happy birthday to her, getting her some cards and even baking her a cake. I guess they don't have to do that, but they did and it is much appreciated.
If I could I'd give Seacroft Green Nursing Home 6 stars. Everything about it is outstanding. There's no greater comfort than knowing my mum is in such good hands. I couldn't ask for more, this home is exceptionally well run.
When my mother's dementia necessitated her moving to a care home, my daughter and I visited Seacroft Green and immediately knew that this was the perfect place for her care. The friendly community atmosphere was immediately apparent, and she was flooded with kindness and attention from the cheerful nursing staff and carers from her first day. Unfortunately, after almost 12 months, Mum's health deteriorated, but she was cared for with kindness, professionalism and dignity until the end. I have no hesitation in recommending Seacroft Green.
Lovely and welcoming home. Very friendly, bright, clean and modern which is located in a nice, quiet setting. Lots of facilities nearby. Staff, nurses, admin and managers have been so helpful in looking after my friend. His daily needs are very well catered for. Privacy is respected and there are regular, fun communal activities for all residents. Everyone has been incredibly helpful in assisting with essential paperwork as well and has made personal contact with me when any issues have arisen. And the coffee is good! Highly recommended.
As I walked into the reception we were welcomed by a very pleasant lady who took us up to my friend. Her bedroom was very clean and tidy and my friend was very happy. She took me into the lounge. I was offered a drink, but declined. I sat and chatted and there was plenty of staff around if I am sure they were needed. Excellent atmosphere.
My wife and I visited our friend and from reception to the room we received excellent help. The rooms, lift, dining and sitting areas were clean, comfortable and bright. I looked at the menu which looked excellent and our friend's special dietary needs were catered for.
The food is lovely, and the staff are lovely and look after me well. I found a new family here. Love it here, but I wish I still could go home. Lovely food and a range of different foods and drinks. Everyone is nice.
Excellent, can't say anymore. Good care. Patient is clear and tidy. Excellent room and furnishings.
Seacroft Green is amazing. All the staff go above and beyond to care for all residents and visitors. My brother is happy and well cared for, he can take part in daily activities and really enjoys them. His room is spacious and kept very clean. The staff are very welcoming to all visitors and most staff know visitors by name. Lovely, warm, friendly, amazing place for visitors and residents. Would highly recommend.
I received good care. The staff are ace.
I have found the staff very accommodating and fulfilled all my needs in initially very difficult and unusual (for me) difficult circumstances. I unhesitatingly recommend this care facility.
My dad spent ten months in this facility before he sadly passed away. Dad always seemed clean and presentable when we visited, and his meal options were superb. Staff were always there to address any concerns or answer questions and were very nice, caring people. The home has activities for residents and social events. The rooms are comfortable and clean. On occasions when Dad had medical issues, medical staff were always called in, and Dad's best interests were always prioritised. This included ordering him a special chair when he had mobility issues. Towards the end, during Dad's final hours, the staff here were absolutely fantastic, bringing in drinks and snacks for the family sitting at his bedside and constantly making sure he was as comfortable as possible. They helped us get through the worst few hours of my life, and I will always be grateful. Staff sat with us, held hands with us, even she'd tears with us as though Dad was one of their own. It was quite unbelievable to see. Thank you.
My aunt has, and is still, receiving care to a high standard, particularly concerning her medical and nursing care, e.g. applying cream to her legs every day. When necessary, a local doctor has been called in, and an ambulance when she was very unwell. The carers who "pop in" during the day when I am visiting are kind, understanding and very obliging - nothing it iso much trouble.
Staff helped Mum enjoy her birthday and made the day special for her. She especially likes the empathy doll and wore her new clothes with style.
The home is well managed with lovely and caring staff that looked after us, especially during the Covid pandemic. It's a newly built home with the necessary facilities to make life easier for us residents.
I love being here; they are very good people to be with. They really care about you and are very helpful.
I think the time given to us by the staff is wonderful. Any questions are answered and received; everything is explained, and anyone of the staff will listen to problems and concerns.
I am extremely impressed with the care that my father, who sadly recently passed away, was given. The staff are all very caring, dedicated people, who looked after my late father excellently. Nurses, carers, domestic staff, catering, activity staff and receptionists - all amazing people.
My mum went into this care home in late September of 2019 after breaking her foot and suffering from dementia. She was welcomed into the home and has been extremely well looked after. All the members of staff are very courteous and approachable and are always happy and willing to discuss mum and how she is at any given time. Sadly when lockdown came into force in March of 2020, this home along with all the others had to suspend visits. However, during this time, they have gone what I regard as the extra mile by organising video calls, and as the situation has relaxed slightly, we have been granted garden visits which have been a godsend. Throughout this time, the home has kept me up to speed with all of their procedures and policies relating to COVID, and have made me aware of their forward plans. I've also been sent photos of mum enjoying organised events for residents, and the morale of the residents and relatives has always been ke pt at the forefront. The home is lovely inside and out.
