View Full Details of Sid BaileyMy experience has been so positive every time I have visited my dad in the home. The care has been exemplary and nothing is too much trouble. All staff are wonderful. I love that all activities pursued are put on social media as I live in Morecambe and I can see what Dad is up to and see him smiling happy face.
Sid Bailey Home provides an excellent caring environment. We find the staff to be very good and are always on hand when needed. The home has fantastic facilities including your own private room and ensuite as well as two dining areas on each floor.
My mum has been at Sid Bailey since May 24. She has dementia and has recently had a stroke which has meant that she now needs much more care than before. The home has been amazing at attending to all her needs. Nothing is too much trouble and my concerns are always answered. Her room is beautiful, the food is lovely and I couldn't wish for Mum to be in a better place. Mum is happy there. I would highly recommend it.
Very welcoming place. Clean, bright and cheerful. Happy and helpful staff. My friend's room is lovely if a little bit impersonal. She hasn't been there long so that could change as she settles in more. The food looked appetising, menu was displayed for everyone to see.
Unfortunately, my experience with this Care home when it comes to looking after residents with dementia, they have all the talk but do not actually know how to treat challenging behaviour. It's a shame because the home is lovely.
Was a very pleasant stay. The staff are excellent. Very clean and beautiful home. Would definitely stay again.
I went to see a resident with a friend and we were welcomed and knew where to go and find our friend. Once with her, we were impressed with the loveliness of the care home staff who were smiling, helpful and kind to our friend. We would have made a cuppa but a nurse there made us 3 one and biscuits. Our friend is adjusting of course and hopefully, she will settle and join in with activities and garden and go for a walk in nice weather. We left feeling reassured she was in a fabulous environment in a lovely room.
You only get one chance to make a good impression and it was my first visit and I was really impressed. Receptionist, helpful and friendly. The home is beautiful. I visited all nursing homes in our area and this is the first class but unfortunately, some people will not be able to afford the experience.
Friendly welcome from the receptionist, and helpful staff. Beautiful decor, spacious ensuite rooms. Wide corridors. Lovely landscaped gardens with chairs, benches and tables. Good sized car park. Very impressed.
Everyone is helpful and thoughtful with my mum and her family. Rooms are of a hotel standard and resources support my mum's independence. Staff work hard to engage all staff in activities provided, despite individual levels of ability. Management have worked with our family, pre-entry of Mum to the home and now she is a resident. Thank you.
I visited a friend of mine at Sid Bailey and thought I was entering a five-star hotel! My friend was so happy, it was lovely to see how well looked after he is. It was also a pleasure to talk to the staff who were all very chatty and helpful, a credit to the home.
I visited an ex-colleague at Sid Bailey and was amazed at the cleanliness and overall look of the building. His room is beautiful and so well equipped, better than many five-star hotels I have seen. Every member of staff that I saw that day were friendly and professional, although I'm not looking at the moment. If effort in the future, I needed to Sid Bailey would be the first choice.
My dad has been a resident at Sid Bailey for five months. It is a lovely care home with exemplary staff who genuinely care. They look after all my dad's personal needs, he has a lovely clean room, good food and good company. From previous experience, not all care homes are the same. I have found an excellent one for my dad and it vies me peace of mind knowing he his looked after.
Mum was made welcome from the moment she arrived. Nothing was too much trouble from all grades of staff. The bedroom was beautifully decorated and aids were available for my mum's care needs. The activities coordinator (newly promoted) is obviously passionate about her role. The food was amazing. Thank you for everything. We will definitely be using the care home again.
The staff were very nice and helpful. The receptionist was extremely good and showed me around on my first visit.
Fabulous staff, nothing too much trouble. Facility looks like a 5-star hotel. Cleanliness is impeccable. Efficiently run, with residents and family feedback encouraged. Food portions a little small, but always more available.
Communication is fantastic - we were kept informed at every stage. The staff are attentive and polite - nothing is too much trouble. We are delighted that our dear friend is going to be looked after with the best care possible in a home-from-home setting. Andrea and Sarah have been so supportive and made us feel welcome and confident that this is the best place for our friend to live.
My grandmother is in this home and she loves it, I enjoy coming to see her. The home is brilliant, staff friendly and always helpful. Coffee and cake is excellent. I have met the manager and nothing is too much trouble, best move my gran and family have made.
Very friendly staff and atmosphere. Lovely facilities.
The home is beautifully decorated and clean. All staff are friendly and attentive and we feel our aunty is well cared for. The food always appears to be very good and our aunty confirms it is. There appears to be plenty of activities panned for Christmas and we family members are always made to feel very welcome.
