View Full Details of Ascot Grange Care Home - Avery CollectionWalking into Ascot Grange is like stepping into a warm bath. My Mum moved in for respite care but, sadly, was far sicker than we all realised and passed away a couple of weeks later. The staff were absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, right through to the very end, they couldn't do enough for Mum or the family and all done very professionally, with a friendly smile and a hug when needed. Nothing was too much trouble. The lovely surroundings helped too, Mum's room was so comfortable and everything was of such good quality while retaining a homely feel. I just wish she could have moved in a little earlier, I'm convinced she would have enjoyed the atmosphere, facilities and food.
Ascot Grange Care Home is more like a 5-star hotel run by a family. Everyone is so friendly and helpful and makes a real effort to make the residents feel at home. The food is exceptional and nothing is too much trouble. There is always something interesting to do to keep everyone engaged and stimulated. The best place for my mother as it is so good to see her laughing again.
A lovely friendly and caring environment. Dad is well cared for and has plenty of things to get involved with if he wishes. Dad particularly likes going out in the minibus and being involved in the gardening club. The staff are always kind to Dad and make us welcome when we visit.
My father went for respite in April 2024 and felt so comfortable and at home at Ascot Grange that he is now a permanent resident. All the staff have been so warm, friendly and caring, such a wonderful place.
To all at Ascot Grange, I would like you to know how much I appreciate the care and love that was given to my dad, while he was with you! The level of care you all provided, surpassed my expectations and is something that all care homes should aspire to! He truly loved you all and knowing this gave me peace of mind during this difficult time. Each and every one of you at every level should be immensely proud of yourselves. You are all a credit to Avery Care Homes. My very kind regards
Mum has been a resident in Ascot Grange for almost 18 months and it’s been a life changer. When Mum’s mental health deteriorated, and it became obvious she could no longer look after herself in her own home, it was heartbreaking having to make the decision to move her into residential care but boy was it a good decision. Thanks to the patience, understanding and guidance offered by the staff at Ascot Grange Mum settled wonderfully and I can sleep easy knowing she is safe. I have the luxury of living just around the corner so I can, and do, pop in every day but if I go away I can rest assured that she’s being well looked after. The staff are friendly and dedicated and any issues are quickly resolved by the approachable and professional management team.
My mum has been at Ascot Grange for over 5 years and I cannot recommend it more highly. The care she receives is amazing and the patience and kindness of the staff is endless. There are a multitude of activities and the food is fantastic.
My parents had been residents for eighteen months at Ascot Grange Care Home and I have always given the staff and home glowing reports for their care but following my mother's passing in January, I have been amazed at the outpouring of genuine love and care for my father and to us, as a family. Although part of the larger Avery Group, the manager is very hands-on, runs his own ship. I would recommend Ascot Grange without hesitation.
In the four months my mother has been there, seen her moral improve from not being able to have a conversation with my mum, to seeing her as happy as she can be, and have normal conversations with her. I can only put this down to the quality of care she is getting.
I cannot fault Ascot Grange, the staff and care they give are exceptional. I would not hesitate to recommend it. My Father was so well looked after and enjoyed his time there. If you are looking for a home for your elderly loved one I can heartily recommend it.
Our mum moved to Ascot Grange for 18 months until her death in January 2024. We cannot speak highly enough of Ascot Grange in every respect. The manager and his management team have established a positive, caring culture throughout Ascot Grange - they lead by example. The staff are fantastic - caring, respectful, good-humoured and interested in the residents as individuals. We are a large family so Mum had a lot of visitors in her time there at different times of day and night and we were always made to feel welcome and the team made time to answer any of our questions. Mum's health and wellbeing greatly improved when she moved in and she really appreciated the quality of the care she received. When Mum fell ill in December and we agreed on an end-of-life care plan the support we received as a family throughout those difficult weeks was exemplary. The staff were empathetic, professional, caring and considerate and helped make a difficult time better than it would otherwise have been. Thank you.
I visited (2nd time) friends at Ascot Grange. A wonderful environment; spotlessly clean. All staff are warm, welcoming and professional. We dined in the dining room - excellent. Thank you.
The property quality is excellent. The facilities are excellent and so are the activities for the residents. Food is high quality and most of all the people working there at all levels, they do genuinely care.
I came to Ascot Grange in a very weak state having been diagnosed with Anaemia but with no discernable cause and pulled muscles in my back. I was almost bedridden when I arrived but with care, support and nourishing food I became stronger. Unfortunately, I caught Covid which drained all my strength again. I am now much stronger and my walking has improved with lots of exercises. I was very happy to come to Ascot Grange which is very convenient for my daughter to visit. I would like to thank everyone here, the catering staff, the lovely carers and support staff, the cleaners and laundry staff and all other staff and management for their friendliness and humour who have all been so encouraging.
Very caring and efficient staff very polite and pleasant. The food is good with varied menus. The health care was good and the nurses very understanding. Both my wife and I spent time there and were very impressed. A well-run unit.
My aunt was a resident at Ascot Grange for the last 2 months of her life and was extremely happy there. All the staff were so friendly, kind, caring and compassionate. Ascot has a very friendly, happy and welcoming atmosphere and nothing was ever too much trouble. Lovely gardens, bright and airy rooms and delicious food.
My mum came to Ascot Grange for two weeks of respite. She was safe and well cared for. After some confusion regarding meds, this was rectified. Every member of staff she/we came into contact with was so friendly and caring, which makes a huge impact on a respite break. Thank you. (My only negative is the minimum stay of two weeks, which would deter me from using it at times).
Everything totally professional. Caring and friendly. All staff are most charming and helpful in all ways.
My dad is being extremely well looked after. The staff are friendly and helpful. A very welcoming care home. Dad's room is cleaned thoroughly every day. And Dad looks clean. I love seeing the activities you all do with the residents.
Posh aesthetics on the inside, but poor management, nursing care that is non-existent even though you pay £650 per week for and complete lack of any care. We put my mother in for respite care while we were on holiday. She had a sore on her back about a pea size but when she came home after 4 weeks the sore had become infected and grew 5 times the original size. They lost half of her clothing and had someone else's underwear. She lost 3 stone in weight in 4 weeks. She was due to have a catheter change while in the nursing home but they refused to carry this out and again causing a UTI. We told the home and my mum told them multiple times but was ignored. Use this so-called nursing home at your own risk. Be warned.
