View Full Details of Springfield Manor Care HomeA persons home has that 'special feeling.' Springfield Manor has that special feeling one of safety, sanctuary but also of life continuing. The whole staff showed commitment and pride towards their work with residents always a priority. Our dealings with Springfield Manor as relatives was with understanding and empathy throughout allowing us time to set up Mums room in advance of her arrival and time to get to know the staff. Sadly Mum never made it out of hospital to experience all that Springfield Manor had to offer. I cannot rate this special home highly enough for their dedication and support to family members too. Thank you.
We went through the natural worries of considering residential care as the best option to keep my parents safe and able to live life to the fullest. However after finding Springfields and seeing the way it has enriched my parents' lives over the few months there has put my mind at rest. From being reliant on visiting carers that meant a lot of time just sitting doing the same each day my mother now is able to get on with a host of creative activities, enjoy haircuts, manicures and the great company of fellow residents and the great team. The change that this has brought about in her has been amazing. As for my father he is now able to provide activities for the residents such as quizzes which means he is always busy hammering at his laptop. It also means that he is able to spend time joining in and talking to his fellow residents as they discuss the news whilst he happily munches his lunch. Thank you to all at Springfield for the new life you have given to them both.
Mum and dad moved to Springfield Manor last September. It was a deeply difficult & emotional decision to take but I knew that even with carers I could not continue to manage their needs at home. Springfield helped to make this huge step so much easier by showing true empathy, consideration & kindness to me, as well as to mum & dad. The care shown to my parents is so wonderful, & they treat them as if they were their own, being compassionate, caring & always ensuring their dignity. Mum is non-verbal, with no mobility, & they spend time checking that she is okay & ensuring she can join in with the amazing activities provided. I was so worried when mum & dad went into residential care that I would lose a part of them, but they have thrived & are so happy. Visiting is now such a joyful experience that I look forward to without any worries. Everyone is fabulous in providing outstanding care. Thank you especially to the dedicated manager whose help, advice & care mean the world to us all.
The care my father received was beyond excellent. The manager was very attentive and caring as were the staff. I would definitely recommend Springfield Manor Care Home to anyone. Everything possible was done to make dads short stay as comfortable and dignified. I cannot thank all the staff enough.
I have every confidence that my wife is receiving excellent care. She is safe, comfortable, calm and yes, well looked after. All the staff are caring. It is their job and they do it very, very well. Springfield is, without doubt, the best care home I have ever visited. Thank you all at Springfield Manor.
Being a resident at Springfield Manor is a very caring experience. The normal staff were incredibly helpful and caring. However, a special thanks should go to the medical staff who went the extra mile to help my cousin be relieved of pain during his end of life from cancer. I can only hope that more patients will be able to enjoy this wonderful environment and care if they need to experience end-of-life situations.
My parents have been residents in Springfield Manor for two months now and we can safely say that their care has been second to none. The home is bright and cheerful and the facilities are excellent, the residents' rooms are a great size and very comfortable and the communal areas provide lovely meeting areas. The staff deserve recognition for their massive contribution to the fantastic care provided by Springfield Manor. They are caring and friendly and the communication with us is excellent, we are kept up-to-date with how my parents are doing, and any concerns they have they deal with promptly. The manager is always available to answer any queries we may have. All in all, this is a great care home and we are totally at ease knowing my mum and dad are safe and well looked after.
My mother became a resident at this home in September 2024, after being bed-bound for 3 months in her own home. She is now able to get out of bed and join other residents in the communal lounge and she is also taking part in the communal activities. Mum has settled in well to what is a caring and safe environment. The standard of care is excellent and the care staff are wonderful, as are the administrative staff and the manager. The home itself is new, only opened in June 2024, and the facilities and the building reflect this. There can't be many care homes with their own bar! It is good to know that Mum is being well cared for and is safe. I highly recommend this care home.
Mum and Dad moved in at the beginning of August and have been helped to settle after coming from another care home. Their needs are being well met and the staff keep me well informed. The care home manager was very helpful in the transition between homes and took a lot of details prior to them moving to ensure that their needs could be catered for.
My dad has been at Springfield Manor for just over a month. Prior to this, he was in a rehab ward in a local hospital. The manager liaised with me to ensure a smooth transition. All the staff are absolutely amazing. I visit regularly and observe true kindness, compassion and exceptional care. The fabulous food makes my dad's face light up and he enjoys every mouthful. He also likes the activities which I never thought he would interact with. I feel so lucky to have found Springfield Manor. A huge thank you to all the staff.
Prior to Dad's admission, the manager met with us regularly to ensure that all of Dad's needs could be met. The manager and her leadership team are highly experienced professionals which was evident from the discussions that were held around Dad's care, offering advice and support whilst displaying such kindness and compassion. Since admission, Dad has absolutely thrived, he is walking more and is fully accessing the marvellous facilities ie on-site pub (playing his favourite games), cinema, music, games and activity rooms. In addition, he has already gained 6lbs in weight, enjoying the delicious home-cooked food to the full! Our dad is truly happy here and is always laughing and smiling with the fabulous staff team who are so kind and caring, treating him with dignity and respect. We can visit Dad at any time and are always made to feel so very welcome. We know he is in very safe hands here, we can't recommend it enough! Thank you all at Springfield Manor, you are amazing!
