View Full Details of Studley Rose Care HomeEverything about Studley Rose is exceptional. My lovely mum lived at the home for 14 months. During that time she was always treated with kindness, dignity and respect. The whole team go out of their way to provide the very best care and they became like a second family to us. The care she received in her final days could not have been better and the staff who looked after her are true angels. From the moment you walk into the home you will realise it's a very special place as it's so calm and welcoming and spotlessly clean. We will always be grateful for the care Mum received.
It is almost 5 months since our mother was so warmly welcomed to the wonderful family that is Studley Rose and she is thriving. The care she receives has remained consistently outstanding. In fact, Studley Rose is a benchmark in kindness, care, comfort, thoughtfulness, and sincerity. Above all else, the level of compassion which is shown equally to residents and to their families is unrivalled and I can't thank them enough.
Mum came from a 4-week stay in hospital to Studley Rose and she thought it was a 5* hotel! The manager and the team at Macc really went the extra mile to facilitate the move - 'The Great Escape' as Mum called it. The management, nursing and care staff were all so kind to Mum, and our family, through every stage. Thank you everyone you making our last weeks with Mum so much easier - what you do takes special people, we feel blessed.
Our family member has been at the care home for four months, and we couldn't be more impressed with the level of care he's received. The staff are exceptionally caring, attentive, and always going the extra mile to ensure each resident is treated with respect and kindness. They've built a strong rapport with him, making him feel comfortable and supported, and loved. The home itself is bright, welcoming, and beautifully maintained, offering spacious rooms and relaxing common areas. The garden is a peaceful haven for residents. There's a wide variety of activities available, from arts and crafts to social events, keeping residents engaged and connected. What stands out most is the sense of community. The residents are treated like family, and the staff fosters a warm, friendly atmosphere. I have complete peace of mind knowing that he is in such wonderful hands, he has been welcomed into a family. Studley Rose care home is absolutely remarkable and that's down to every member of staff.
From the first contact it has been an excellent, compassionate and caring experience working with the team at Studley Rose. Nobody wants to be in a situation like our family has found ourselves. And very few people are already informed on the details and procedures to best help their parents make this kind of transition. With Studley Rose, I found a group of people who care not only for the well-being of their residents, but also for the family members involved in the journey. Every step of the way there has been someone able to help me understand the process and freed me to focus on what has mattered most - helping my parents. The facilities are really good, providing multiple modalities of care, and the staff manage to walk the line of professional and personal really well. I'm so relieved to know my loved ones are safe, cared for, and provided with ample opportunities for community.
As a family, we have had outstanding service at Studley Rose from the very first enquiry we made. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff. Mum had a short respite stay first and was able to maintain her independence, yet be looked after and cared for in perfect proportions. A month later, after such a positive experience, she moved in to Studley Rose and has settled so well. When you enter the home you are made to feel so welcome and part of the family. The staff are so friendly and caring and know the residents well. Thank you to everyone at the home, it is so good to know Mum is safe and cared for to such a high standard.
My sister has been a resident of Studley Rose for about three months. I could not be more impressed with the level of attention and care that she is receiving. She has brightened, quite noticeably, from when she was living alone. I attribute that, to a great degree to the variety of engaging activities that make her days so much less boring than just sitting at home watching television. Both the staff and the other residents seemed to embrace her from day one. Almost immediately, she developed a sense of belonging. I live all the way over in America and my way of connecting with my sister is via video chat. She has trouble, at times, dealing with how to make the connection and open up her video camera. The staff has proven always ready to get with her and help us get connected and that has meant the world to me in keeping in touch with my Sis.
My American mom-in-law, who has Alzheimer's, stayed for 3 weeks whilst my wife and I had a much-needed break. We couldn't have been happier with our choice of care home for her. From the moment she arrived on 4th July (Independence Day) at their reception with USA flags and Hershey's chocolate to greet her, we knew this was probably going to be a good place to be cared for. We weren't disappointed at all - during the 3 weeks we were kept informed about mom's daily activities, her health and mental state etc and they responded to any questions we had. When we spoke to mom she was enjoying her holiday/stay and said 'All the staff are so friendly'. This was her repeating sentence. So friendly in fact, that when we collected her and got her home, within 24 hours she had decided she wanted to return to Studley Rose for good! A huge thanks to the customer relationship manager for being so professional, thoughtful and caring during this very emotional time for us and for Mom.
Upon arrival, we were impressed by the friendly and warm welcome from the staff. The room was spacious and comfortable. My husband has been a resident of Studley Rose for one week and has been so well looked after.
I highly recommend Studley Rose Care Home. My father went to the care home in June and the transition from the hospital to the care home was organised brilliantly by the care home. Great communication, updated me on how my father was settling in. The staff give my father excellent care and after such a worrying time of him having to go to a care home, I have no more worries as the care is excellent. It's been a great reassurance to the family, especially my mother who was anxious about putting my father into a care home for health reasons.
Studley Rose provides great care for my mum. The staff care for residents and truly connect with families, keeping you informed and involved. Residents benefit from a diverse calendar of activities, ensuring there's something for everyone. In the first months mum has enjoyed games and musical performances while staying at Studley. Studley Rose keeps residents engaged and spirits high. The facilities are very clean, providing peace of mind, knowing your loved ones are in a safe and comfortable place.
Our uncle was a resident of Studley Rose for a short time before sadly passing away. While he was at Studley Rose he was treated with kindness, caring and compassion as he had not long lost his wife before becoming very unwell himself. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff at Studley Rose, we were all instantly welcomed and made to feel at home. We couldn't recommend this care home enough with what they have to offer and the great members of staff! We are sad that our uncle is no longer at Studley Rose but they have asked us to keep in touch and said we are always welcome whenever we want to come back! We could not have met more genuine people!
What a transformation with my uncle in just two weeks at Studley Rose. After leaving hospital at rock bottom, following 8 months of numerous hospital admissions, he is back to his former self and after two weeks respite care he likes it so much he's decided to stay as a permanent resident. Studley Rose is purpose-built so it is modern, clean and warm. The en-suite rooms are tastefully decorated with well-made high-quality fixtures and fittings. There are a number of communal seating areas and recreation rooms. There are activities on every day and residents are able to wander/wheel around as they please in a safe environment. My uncle is very much enjoying the food and, in addition to three meals a day, there are snacks and drinks freely available all day. Visitors can also help themselves with free drinks, which is a nice touch. The thing that really makes Studley Rose stand out though is the manager and the team. Friendly, caring, patient, empathetic, nothing is too much trouble.
A five-star home. Staff - welcoming, professional, caring and smiling. Management - well-led, organised and listening. House - modern, clean and odour-free. Facilities - lots of parking, big rooms, wide corridors, hairdressing and entertainment. Food - good choices, personally tailored menus, fresh and well-cooked. Activities - inclusive, varied and good choice. But above all staff engage!
Since my husband has moved into Studley Rose I have been really pleased with the care. My husband always looks very smart and taken care of. He is always included in activities and is always happy and smiling. Staff are always polite and communicate well, they tell us how my husband has been. He loves his daily cooked breakfast. We can't thank you enough as a family.
Arrived in the home early February 2024. Was made to feel very welcome by all levels of staff. Amenities are extensive and am able to participate or not, as I wish. Food is very good and if anything is too much!
A faultless experience and the standard of care from all staff was excellent. A lovely care home which was comfortable, spotless and very welcoming. We would have no hesitation in recommending to our friends and family.
My parents moved into Studley Rose towards the end of November. The home is beautifully presented, and the staff are friendly, attentive and very professional. Nothing is too much trouble. My parents have both settled in really well, which is a credit to the staff's expertise and the level of care given.
My father has been a resident at Studley Rose Care Home for a month, and I am very happy with all aspects of his care. All the staff at Studley Rose Care Home are very friendly and helpful to both myself and my father.
My mother became a resident mid-November and the care she receives is amazing. The staff are so friendly and it is lovely to see how Mum, who has dementia, is so settled happy and trusting of them. She is never left in her bedroom during the day and is taken to all activities where carers are always encouraging and participating with the residents. Studley Rose is a wonderful care home that has an amazing care and compassion for both the residents and their families.
