View Full Details of Trecelyn-CourtMy mother has been a resident here for the last few years. She is treated like a princess in every way and cared for and loved by all the staff. She has recently been in hospital and the manager has gone above and beyond in being my mother's voice during this time. I would give more than 5 stars in every aspect of this review if I could. Amazing place and truly wonderful people
My mother is a resident of Trecelyn Court and she has resided there for approximately 6 months. She is 94 years old and has dementia. I can honestly say that moving my mother into this care home is the best thing that my sister and I have ever done for her. The standard of care and quality of life is first rate with many activities and hobbies carried out every day to keep minds and bodies occupied. This social interaction is a must when someone has dementia as it keeps them alert and their mind active. The staff are so kind and compassionate and it has a family atmosphere where the residents care and enjoyment are paramount. My mother has been like Benjamin Button since coming to Trecelyn Court and although her memory is very limited, she always has a good word for the staff probably due to the fact they spoil her! I have no hesitation in recommending this care home as it has been a tonic to both her mental and physical well being.
My mother settled straight away into Trecelyn Court. The staff are great and can't do enough for you. Her room is perfect en-suite and a TV. Was worried about mam when she first got there last August, but needn't have worried, she has settled in so well and enjoys the company and the activities.
The standard of care to the residents is outstanding. The staff go above and beyond to ensure that the residents have a quality of life and dignity in all aspects of care. The food is of the highest standard and quality and variety. There are daily activities and games for all the residents. I cannot give this home enough praise and to the staff for all their professional care to our most vulnerable pensioners. Thank Trecelyn Court.
My mother-in-law is looked after very well at Trecelyn-Court. She is safe. No more falling and no more worrying for us as her family. The staff are so obliging, so friendly and do a fantastic job. The culture, cleanliness and atmosphere of the home are first-class. I would highly recommend it.
Total neglect to my father-in-law. Post-COVID after suffering chest infection, sepsis, dehydration on arrival to hospital after two days before being admitted two senior carers were asked by myself for doctor to be called. No was the response, my father-in-law is clinically well. The following morning he gets admitted to hospital with the above diagnosis. Absolutely totally neglected. Also got a photo very big blister on heel and I was told his feet were fine.
My mother has been a resident at Trecelyn Court for a little over 2 years now and I must say that it has been a blessing. Before going into the home mother was forever in and out of hospital either for some sort of infection, virus or on many occasions as a result of a fall, but touch wood she hasn't been admitted to hospital for the past 2 years. A lot of this is simply to do with the excellent care provided at Trecelyn Court. All staff have been excellent and deserved a medal but a special thanks go to four staff members in particular. I certainly know how much of a hand full my mother can be at times, so I do sympathise with you all. Thanks for the continuous hard work and care.
My mother-in-law has been in Trecelyn-Court for a few months. Before she went in she didn't interact with anyone, slept most of the time and generally and quite poorly. She is now looking great, taking part in all activities, and her health is better. The team here are amazing, and so clean and tidy and the food is amazing. Highly recommend this home.
They have looked after my nonni so well, it makes me feel happy and safe. I love visiting her as often as I can and the staff always make me feel warm and welcome.
Having to put Mum into a home was heartbreaking. I wanted to continue caring for her at home, but I knew she needed expert care. Treceltn-Court is a wonderful home - so helpful and caring and makes everyone feel like family. The care they have given my mum is second to none. I would so highly recommend them.
My mother has Parkinson's. She was in her own flat but was vulnerable. She had sustained many falls requiring admission to the hospital. She could no longer cope at home because of her mobility issues. She could no longer manage her medications, for multiple medical conditions. Since moving into Trecelyn, she has had 24-hour support from wonderful, caring and supportive staff. As a family, we are grateful that she is well cared for. We no longer worry about her falling and not being in control of her medication. Her room is en suite. It is always clean and tidy. She can socialise in communal areas if she wishes. If she is having a bad day, she is allowed to rest in her room. When we visit her now, we can socialize and reconnect, rather than worry and stress. She tells me frequently how lovely and kind the staff are. Believe me, she would be the first to say if they were not. From my own perspective, the staff are welcoming, courteous and accommodating. Nothing is too much trouble for them.
Mum had been determinedly independent all her life but issues related to her dementia meant the time had come to move and as a family, we agree the move to Trecelyn-Court is the best decision we have made. The welcome Mum received from day one has also been outstanding, the food and the care she has received has been fantastic. Dignity and self-worth is promoted on a daily basis with activities to stimulate and engage being provided daily. Individual interests are encouraged as well as promoting group activities. Mum has had a number of medical issues in recent months but the professionalism of the staff ensured that prompt intervention was sought and that following stays in hospital has returned to the loving care of Trecelyn. All staff work tirelessly to provide a clean, welcoming and stimulating environment for all residents. I would have no difficulty in recommending Trecelyn to anyone needing to make a very difficult decision in moving to a supported environment.
Very professional, the staff are very welcoming and the home is clean and tidy. The rooms where residents live are very spacious and love the en-suite, the food is lovely and the activities are great. I don’t have to worry, they are very professional.
Mum stayed at Trecelyn-Court Care Home for the last year. She was suffering with Alzheimer's and passed away in March. The care she received from all the staff was outstanding. She enjoyed the activities every day, especially the gardening. The care and compassion also extended to supporting us, as a family, throughout Mum's illness. I would highly recommend Trecelyn-Court Court.
The care given to my mum was superb. Every member of staff is wonderful, very loving and treated my mum as a family member, it was humbling to experience the care they provided. The staff involved us as a family at all times and welcomed us when we visited my mum and the home is a very special place. My mum’s end-of-life care was exactly as we wanted it and I cannot praise the staff enough. I would highly recommend Trecelyn-Court.
Sadly when my wife was diagnosed with Vascular Dementia and the issues that unfortunately follow. My daughters and I were rather distraught. The Social Worker suggested she initially go into Trecelyn-Court for respite care. After visiting, and the home answering all my questions and concerns for her welfare, she went in on 2/1/23. Just after 2 weeks we could see the care, support and respect she was afforded and knew it was the place for her. All Staff, Management, Activities, Cleaning, along with kitchen staff and maintenance personnel are all so, so friendly and helpful whilst being professional and respectful at the same time. I know now and have no doubts that I have done the right thing by placing my wife in Trecelyn-Court. I have no doubts about recommending the home to anyone, I was reassured from the minute I put my foot through the door. I wish to record my sincere gratitude to everyone at the home for looking after and caring for my wife and keeping her stimulated and safe.
My mother has been a resident for almost a year now since she's been in there she has settled well and made lots of friends. The staff are always on hand to discuss any concerns that I may have and if they have any concerns they get in touch straight away. It is an enormous relief to know that Mam is safe and well cared for 24/7. There are activities every day for Mam to join in if she wants or she can just watch the others. The food always smells delicious when I visit and looks the same when I see it on the Facebook page. We are always kept up to date on the Facebook page which gives me a great deal of comfort to see that Mam is enjoying herself on the days I cannot see her. I would recommend Trecelyn-Court to anyone.
My mother had early signs of dementia and had to have full-time care. The care home was very helpful showing us around and explaining everything that was catered for. From the time of visiting, to my mother's arrival, there was about a week. She was well looked after and all the staff were very helpful and treated my mother as if she was their mother. Nothing was too much trouble for them if they called the doctor they notified me straight away and kept me informed all the time. When I visited all the staff remember who you are and made you welcome, nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend this care home to anybody as it is very clean, tidy and has a nice atmosphere.
My mother went to Trecelyn Court for a period of respite. Myself and my family were extremely apprehensive as to how she would settle in a residential setting, however, I feel that it has been a positive experience for everybody. She settled in very quickly and we were all very happy with the care that she received. Trecelyn Court provided a warm and caring environment and she was made very welcome from the first day. The staff are very approachable and can be flexible with visiting especially when it has to be around work commitments. Thank you.
Try-Celyn really seems to be a home from home. Each time I visit mum staff are friendly and helpful and are always attentive to the residents. They are treated like family. The living and dining room are comfortable and light with enough space. There are always some activities on offer, balloon tennis, skittles, that it almost has the feel of a hotel. The bedrooms are comfortable and spacious and it is all kept spotless. It really does give you peace of mind knowing that Mum is well cared for. Thank you all.
