First Response Training & Consultancy Services Limited (FRT) is one of the UK's leading providers of health and social care training.

It offers a wide range of courses on a local and national level to guide workers in the health and social care sector along the training pathway, from induction right through to higher level and special focus training.

It currently has over 1,400 active clients from within the health and social care sector, covering a wide range of different agencies and specialisms, and deliver over 5,000 care training courses each year.

It works with many local authorities throughout the UK as well as providing training to residential care homes, nursing homes, domiciliary care providers, care recruitment agencies, day care centres and community centres.

All of its care sector courses are mapped to the relevant standards, such as the Care Certificate or the National Occupational Standards for Health and Social Care and the Qualification Credit Framework (QCF) for more experienced workers.

Training will help providers meet the fundamental standards set by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). The updated Code of Conduct developed by Skills for Care and Skills for Health is also embedded within courses where appropriate and they are carefully developed to promote service user choice, dignity and safety.
